From the Ground Up
What began as push mowing 2-acre yards in a Dodge Avenger pulling a trailer has grown into a full-service operation where we live by the motto: we don't just cut grass — we take care of the land. Today we the Highlanders do anything from maintaining your property to cutting and trimming trees, building stone retaining walls, laying sod, installing mulch and rock beds, designing custom landscapes, trimming hedges, hauling off debris, pressure washing — along with everything in between. If it involves your land, the Highlanders have got you covered.
But the core hasn't changed: Trevor and Blake are still on every job, hands-on, start to finish. No subcontractors. No middlemen. Just two owners who take pride in the work and stand behind every project with a 12-month warranty.
The name "Highlander" comes from our Scottish and Irish heritage — people known for resilience, hard work, and fierce pride in what they do. That's not marketing. That's how we were raised.

Our Story
Highlander Lawns and Landscaping was founded by Trevor and Blake — two Highlanders driven by hard work, determination, and a belief that the land deserves better. We saw properties across the Hill Country that needed real care, so we did what Highlanders do best: we got to work.
We started with minimal equipment and a lot of determination. Over time, we have grown — but we have never lost sight of what matters most: doing right by the land and doing right by our clients.
